A VPS is a virtual private server that is located “inside” a physical dedicated server. The resources of each VPS server are dedicated and are not shared with other users, offering great power, reliability and performance.

What are the advantages of a VPS server?

A VPS server has complete isolation. This means that no matter what other users may be doing on the server, your VPS server will not be affected. With root access, you can install the applications you require, giving you guaranteed resources; CPU, RAM, HDD and bandwidth allocated to your VPS server will always be available for your applications.

What operating systems are included?

Choose from images of the following operating systems to install: Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, CentOS and Rocky Linux among the most prominent.

Can I install Windows as my operating system?

VPS servers come with Linux OS as operating system only. If you want to install Windows, you can install it on your own. However, remember that these are unmanaged VPS servers and we do not provide any support.

What can I use VPS servers for?

VPS servers may only be used for lawful purposes.

It is strictly forbidden to use VPS servers to host pornographic content, sell weapons, drugs, perform DDOS attacks or any other kind of attacks, cryptocurrency mining, scams, hosting copyrighted content for distribution (music, books, pdfs, videos, movies, series, dramas, torrents…), warez content, running bots or any other illegal activity.

How long does it take you to deliver VPS servers?

Delivery and activation is instantaneous once payment is made. Remember that if you pay by bank transfer, the activation will be delayed until we receive the payment in the bank account.

Where are the VPS servers located?

Our VPS servers are located in Europe (Germany and Finland) and in the United States (Virginia).

What support do you provide?

We do not offer any kind of support. Our VPS servers are unmanaged, this means that AtresHost only ensures that the VPS server is online and that the connectivity is adequate.

We enable speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s on the network port.

You can upgrade your VPS server to a higher VPS server without any problem.
